Studies have shown that the strength depends on the individual genetic sex

Hebrew University of Jerusalem scientists study has confirmed the strong personal desire or indifference is itself determined by genes. This discovery may change the psychologist's view of sexuality.


The researchers found that the individual human being embodied the sexual difference is caused by changes in genes. The researchers said the study is to reveal the universality of the DNA sequence differences in sexual desire, sexual arousal and sexual behavior on the role, and for the first time the data is given for this situation.




Scientists in the University 148 healthy male and female college students were examined and the results with these students for their sexual desire, sexual arousal, and sexual self-assessment questionnaire were compared. It was found that a genetic change called the D4 receptor and the students to describe the association between sexual behavior.




The researchers said the findings show that low sexual desire is likely a normal physiological conditions rather than psychological problems. And, in this new discovery, based on the possibility of developing new drugs that regulate sexual desire.
